On the atoll of Rangiroa, located to the northeast of Tahiti in French Polynesia, you will find the Pension Bounty in a conviviale, comfortable structure surrounded by coconut plantation. A private road leads diectly to the nearby beach on the beautiful bay of Ohotu. At one end of this beach, picturesque taxi-boats can take you across the pass to visit the village of Tiputa and other areas on the atoll.
Location
Located to the northeast of Tahiti, Rangiroa is the largest atoll of French Polynesia, and one of the largest in the world. Its lagoon is big enough to contain the entire island of Tahiti.

In the heart of a tropical garden, the Pension Bounty, newly constructed in Kohu wood and red cedar is located just a few meters from the beach of the magnificent Ohotu bay, one of the most beautiful spots in Rangiroa.

Diving

There is a large concentration of underwater life in the two passes of Avatoru and Tiputa, key fish passage ways between the lagoon and the ocean.
The reputation of these dives is also based on the particularly exhilarating drift dives in the passes, wich divers especially delight in.
Eco-Adventure
Its deep lagoon with its exceptionally clear turquoise waters hold a dense population of marine fauna, and colonies of birds can be seen on the motus. The vegetation is typical of the French Polynesian atolls : pandanus, plumeria and of course the tiare, symbol of Tahiti.

What our guests say!!! "Of all of the family pensions that I had visited in French Polynesia, this is THE BEST that I had stayed in. This place has all of the convenient and comfort of a modern mid-range hotel but with a price of a no frill pension. The pension resided on a small, beautiful, and clean campus with six coconuts tree, cemented sidewalk, and night-lights. The new place was built in the year 2004 and is run by a lovely French couple name Alain and Muriel. They will do everything to make your stay in Rangiroa and especially in their pension enjoyable, and memorable. When you arrive or depart from the airport Alain will pay for your taxi. As you came from the airport to the pension, the Alain will greet you with a big bottle (1.5 liter) of cold water – an excellent gesture consider how hot you are. If Alain did not give you one, then you will find it in the refrigerator. Breakfast at Pension Bounty is truly bountiful and full of choices. It consists of bread, butter, jam, tea, coffee, milk, cereal, fruit juice, honey, Swiss cheese, fruits or just about whatever Alain and Muriel has in the kitchen they will put it on the table for you. Three of the biggest problems for visitors to French Polynesia are no-no bugs, mosquitoes and heat within the pension. Pension Bounty solved all three problems with no extra cost to the guest. All of the four units has mosquito screen on its glass, slide door and window, allowing the slide door and window to remain open, but keeps these pesky bugs out! The ceiling fan cools the occupants and also moves the air from the main door to the window and outside. Therefore, the air in the units is constantly circulating in and out. This is the only pension in French Polynesia that I am aware of that has mosquitoes screen, and the units is about 10 to 15 degrees Fahrenheit cooler than all other pensions that I had stayed in.
